If you had a chance to make a lasting impressing and alter the course of someone's life by speaking a word of kindness or showing an act of love, would you do it? Do you know every single time you have an encounter with a person you have an opportunity to touch the heart of the individual?
We live in a world full of hurt, pain and chaos that affect people in our society on a day to day basis. People are broken, hurt, and fatherless. They are left feeling like they have no self-worth or sense of purpose. The world needs us because they are looking for a life changing experience. The good news is “There is Hope.” You may ask, what is hope and how can he be so confident that my life will change for the better? My hope and confidence is in God! It doesn’t matter how impossible your situation looks. In fact, my life before Christ was dim and bleak. I was raised in a fatherless home with a need and desire to be accepted. I got involved in heavy drugs and alcohol, premarital sex, but that is not the end of my story.
Jesus found me in the midst of my situation. His love pierced me, I was a broken vessel. Romans 5:8 lets us know, “But God demonstrated his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” This love I’m experiencing is pure, genuine and unconditional. Jesus’ love covers a multitude of sins. It doesn’t matter who you are, God is not concerned about your age, gender or status. God wants you to experience His unconditional love. He wants to use your brokenness for His glory. You may ask, can this be? Jesus said in Matthew 11:28, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.”
You may be wondering, how can I experience this love? You must surrender to God and allow Him to change you. You are one “yes” away from being dead to yourself and becoming alive in Christ Jesus. Once you have changed, you will have the desire to share God’s love and saving grace with others. God will equip and empower you to change one soul at a time. “With God nothing is impossible.”
God’s promise to you is: He will never leave you nor forsake you; He will be with you through the storms of life. Before God formed you in your mother’s womb He predestined you for His glory to be great. God has a purpose for your life.
John 3:16 “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” It’s time to start a real love relationship with God. He is waiting on you.
I’m signing out for now. I love you with the love of Christ. Please feel free to respond. Thank you for reading. Have a blessed day!
